2016 Cyprus Women's Cup
The 2016 Cyprus Women's Cup was the ninth edition of the Cyprus Women's Cup, an invitational women's football tournament held annually in Cyprus. After being initially canceled due to schedule conflicts with both UEFA and AFC qualification for the 2016 Summer Olympics and the 2016 SheBelieves Cup leaving many of the prior year's participants, including reigning champions England, unable to attend, the tournament was rescheduled with the Football Association of Finland as tournament organizers and a scaled-down field of eight national teams. Nina Burger
Nina Burger (born 27 December 1987) is an Austrian former football striker, who played for SC Sand of Frauen Bundesliga, after playing for SV Neulengbach of Austria's ÖFB-Frauenliga. She also played the 2014 season for the Houston Dash in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). She was the ÖFB-Frauenliga's top scorer for six seasons in a row between 2007 and 2012. On 1 April 2019, she announced retirement from the Austrian national team, after playing 108 matches with 53 goals. Daniela Sabatino (born 26 June 1985) is an Italian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Serie A club Sassuolo and the Italy women's national team. Melania Gabbiadini (born 28 August 1983) is an Italian former football forward. After beginning her career with Bergamo in 2000, she later joined AGSM Verona in 2004 and went on to captain the team, until her retirement in 2017. She won five ''Scudetti'' with the club. Gabbiadini was an experienced player at international level who made over 100 caps for the Italy women's national football team. Brian McClair
Brian John McClair (born 8 December 1963) is a Scottish football coach and former professional footballer. As a player, he was a forward from 1980 to 1998, notable for his near 11-year spell at Manchester United where he won 14 trophies including four Premier League titles, two FA Cups and the European Cup Winners' Cup. McClair also had important tenures at Scottish clubs Celtic and Motherwell, winning the Scottish League and Scottish Cup with the former. Deryneia
Deryneia (Greek language, Greek: Δερύνεια; Turkish language, Turkish: ''Derinya'') is a large village in the island of Cyprus. It is located on the east side of the island, south of the city of Famagusta. The population of the village is 5,758 (October 2011 census) and it consists of a municipality since 1994. The current mayor is Andros Karayiannis. Since the 1974 Turkish invasion of Cyprus, around 75% of the village terrain is in Northern Cyprus.
