2015–16 Wisconsin Badgers Women's Basketball Team
The 2015–16 Wisconsin Badgers women's basketball team represented the University of Wisconsin–Madison during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Badgers, led by fifth year head coach Bobbie Kelsey, play their home games at the Kohl Center and are members of the Big Ten Conference. They finished the season 7–22, 3–15 in Big Ten play to finish in fourteenth place. They lost in the first round of the Big Ten women's tournament to Northwestern. On March 4, Bobby Kelsey was fired. She finished a six year record at Wisconsin of 47–100. Bobbie Kelsey
Bobbie Natasha Kelsey (born December 30, 1972) is an American former basketball coach for the WNBA. She is currently the Commissioner of Athletics for Milwaukee Recreation. Career Hired in April 2011, her tenure at the University of Wisconsin ended on March 4, 2016. Her most recent coaching job was an assistant with the Los Angeles Sparks. She has been an assistant coach for Stanford University, and a four-year player for the Cardinal. Kelsey spent three years as an assistant coach at Virginia Tech before returning to her alma mater prior to the 2007-08 campaign. Kishwaukee College is a public community college in Malta, Illinois. The Milwaukee Panthers are the athletic teams representing the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee.
