2015–16 Tulane Green Wave Men's Basketball Team
The 2015–16 Tulane Green Wave men's basketball team represented Tulane University during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Green Wave, led by sixth-year head coach Ed Conroy, played their home games at Devlin Fieldhouse and were second year members of the American Athletic Conference. They finished the season 12–22, 3–15 in AAC play to finish in last place. They defeated UCF and Houston in the AAC tournament to advance to the semifinals before losing to Memphis. Following the season, Tulane fired head coach Ed Conroy. On March 25, 2016, the school hired Mike Dunleavy Sr. as head coach. Ed Conroy (basketball)
Edward S. Conroy (born February 17, 1967) is an American college basketball coach who is currently serving his second stint as the head coach of The Citadel Bulldogs. Career Conroy previously served as the associate head coach for the Vanderbilt Commodores and as an assistant coach for the Minnesota Golden Gophers. Conroy is a former head men's basketball coach at Tulane University, being hired in April 2010. Conroy was officially relieved of his duties as Tulane head coach on March 14, 2016. Before joining Tulane, he coached four seasons at The Citadel and three seasons at Francis Marion University. Conroy announced his return to The Citadel on March 23, 2022. The Murray State Racers men's basketball program represents Murray State University in intercollegiate men's basketball. Murray State is a member of the Missouri Valley Conference in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), having joined that conference in 2022 after 74 seasons in the Ohio Valley Conference.
