2015–16 Serbian SuperLiga
The 2015–16 Serbian SuperLiga is the tenth season of the Serbian SuperLiga, the top tier of league football in Serbia. The season started on 17 July 2015 and finished on 21 May 2016. Partizan were the defending champions. Changes from 2014–15 Structural changes The competition has been split into two stages, regular season and playoffs. Regular season Each of the 16 competitors in the SuperLiga hosts every other team once in the regular season, for a total of 30 matches. A win earns three points and a draw earns one point. Teams are ranked by total points, then by total wins and finally by goal difference, number of scored goals, number of away goals and number of away wins. If teams are still level, a test-match is played in two legs to determine the final order in the standings. A playoff phase is then played from March to May. Serbian SuperLiga
The Serbian Super League (), also known as Mozzart SuperLiga for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in Serbia and the highest level of the Serbian football league system. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Serbian First League. The SuperLiga was formed during the summer of 2005 as the country's top football league competition in Serbia and Montenegro. Since summer 2006 after the secession of Montenegro from Serbia, the league only has had Serbian clubs. Serbian clubs used to compete in the Yugoslav First League. This competition was formed in 1923 and lasted until 2003. After the downfall of SFR Yugoslavia in 1991 a new Yugoslavia would be formed that would be named FR Yugoslavia with Montenegro and Serbia. FK Mladost Lučani () is a professional football club based in Lučani, Serbia. They compete in the Serbian SuperLiga, the top tier of the national league system. History Founded in 1952, the club achieved its first notable success by winning the Yugoslav Inter-Republic League (Group East) in 1989, thus earning promotion to the Yugoslav Second League. However, they were relegated after just one season, finishing bottom of the table. Upon the breakup of Yugoslavia, the club started off in the Second League of FR Yugoslavia. They won first place in 1995 and took promotion to the First League (I/B League). Borac Stadium ( sr-cyr, Стадион Борца), colloquially known as the Stadion kraj Morave, is a multi-purpose stadium in Čačak, Serbia. It is the home stadium of football club Borac 1926. History The Borac Stadium was opened in 1958. The stadium has undergone reconstruction from 2011 to 2017, in a project that was worth 3 million euros. After the completion of the reconstruction, the stadium is capable of holding 8,000 spectators. Čačak ( sr-Cyrl, Чачак, ) is a List of cities in Serbia, city and the administrative center of the Moravica District in central Serbia. It is located in the West Morava Valley. 2014–15 Serbian First League
The Serbian First League (Serbian: Prva liga Srbije) is the second-highest football league in Serbia. The league is operated by the Serbian FA. 16 teams competed in the league for the 2014–15 season. Two teams will be promoted to the Serbian SuperLiga while the 3rd placed team will play in the play-offs against the 14th team in the SuperLiga. Four teams will be relegated to the Serbian League, the third-highest division overall in the Serbian football league system. Fudbalski klub Voždovac () is a professional football club based in Voždovac, Belgrade, Serbia, which competes in the Serbian First League, the second tier. Fudbalski klub Spartak Ždrepčeva Krv () is a professional football club from Subotica, Serbia, that plays in the Serbian SuperLiga.
