2015–16 Portland Trail Blazers Season
The 2015–16 Portland Trail Blazers season was the franchise's 46th season in the National Basketball Association (NBA). In the First Round of the Playoffs, the Blazers defeated the injury depleted Los Angeles Clippers in six games. However, their season ended in the next round with a defeat to the defending NBA champion and eventual Western Conference champion Golden State Warriors in five games. This was the Blazers' first season since 2005-06 without LaMarcus Aldridge as he joined the San Antonio Spurs during the summer. Terry Stotts
Terry Linn Stotts (born November 25, 1957) is an American former professional basketball player and coach who is the top assistant coach for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He previously served as head coach of the Portland Trail Blazers of the NBA from 2012 to 2021 before most recently spending an offseason as an assistant coach for the Milwaukee Bucks of the NBA in 2023. After a playing as a Forward (basketball), forward in Europe and the Continental Basketball Association (CBA), where he was coached by George Karl, Stotts became a part of Karl's coaching staff on multiple teams in the CBA and NBA. Westchester Community College (WCC) is a public community college in Valhalla, New York, in Westchester County. It is part of the State University of New York (SUNY) system. History New York state opened five coed technical institutes in 1946, one each in the communities of Buffalo, Binghamton, Utica, New York, and White Plains. Phillip Michael Pressey (born February 17, 1991) is an American professional basketball coach and former player who played at the point guard position. He currently is an assistant coach for Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association. Patrick Bergin Connaughton ( ; born January 6, 1993) is an American professional basketball player for the Milwaukee Bucks of the National Basketball Association (NBA), where he primarily plays as a shooting guard. The Golden State Warriors are an American professional basketball team based in San Francisco. Noah Vonleh ( ; born August 24, 1995) is an American professional basketball player who last played in 2024 for the Shanghai Sharks of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA). He played college basketball for the Indiana Hoosiers.
