2015–16 Pepperdine Waves Men's Basketball Team
The 2015–16 Pepperdine Waves men's basketball team represented Pepperdine University during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. This was head coach Marty Wilson's fifth full season at Pepperdine. The Waves played their home games at the Firestone Fieldhouse and were members of the West Coast Conference. They finished the season 18–14, 10–8 in WCC play to finish in fourth place. They defeated San Francisco in the WCC tournament to advance to the semifinals where they lost to Saint Mary's. They were invited to the College Basketball Invitational where they lost in the first round to Eastern Washington. Marty Wilson (basketball)
Lamar "Marty" Wilson (born October 17, 1966) is an American college basketball coach, who most recently served as an assistant coach at UC Berkeley. Wilson previously served as head coach at his alma mater Pepperdine University. Playing career As a player at Pepperdine, Wilson ended his career in fifth place on the all-time assists list with 342 (he still ranks ninth). Under head coach Jim Harrick, Wilson was a backup point guard in 1984–85 and 1985–86, and the Waves advanced to the NCAA Tournament both seasons. A back injury sidelined Wilson for the entire 1986–87 campaign, but he took over as the starting point guard in 1987–88. Unfortunately, he suffered a season-ending knee injury in the 17th game of the season, though the Waves still advanced to the NIT. Green Bay Phoenix Men's Basketball
The Green Bay Phoenix men's basketball team is an NCAA Division I college basketball team competing in the Horizon League for the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay. They are coached by Doug Gottlieb. The Phoenix have appeared five times in the NCAA tournament, most recently in 2016. History The Green Bay men's basketball team began play in the 1969–70 school year where it competed at the NAIA level before moving to NCAA Division II in 1973. In 1982, it moved to NCAA Division I, where it competed in the Association of Mid-Continent Universities (now the Summit League). Since 1994, Green Bay has competed in the Horizon League (formerly the Midwestern Collegiate Conference). The Phoenix saw success in the early-to-mid-1990s, making their first NCAA tournament appearance in 1991 and their first second-round appearance in 1994. Brewster Academy is a co-educational independent boarding school located on in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, United States. It occupies of shoreline along Lake Winnipesaukee. Porter Ranch is a suburban neighborhood of the City of Los Angeles, in the northwest portion of the San Fernando Valley. History The Porter family acquired part of Rancho Ex-Mission San Fernando in 1874. Porter Ranch community started as a housing tract in the community of Northridge. Laveen ( ) is a community in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States, situated southwest of Downtown Phoenix, between South Mountain and the confluence of the Gila and Salt rivers.
