2015–16 Murray State Racers Men's Basketball Team
The 2015–16 Murray State Racers men's basketball team represented Murray State University during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Racers, led by first year head coach Matt McMahon, played their home games at the CFSB Center and were members of the West Division of the Ohio Valley Conference. They finished the season 17–14, 10–6 in OVC play to finish in a tie for the West Division title. They defeated Eastern Illinois in the first round of the OVC tournament to advance to the quarterfinals where they lost to Morehead State. Matt McMahon (basketball)
Matthew Joseph McMahon (born April 26, 1978) is the current men's college basketball head coach for LSU Tigers men's basketball, Louisiana State University. McMahon was formerly the men's basketball coach at Murray State University. In his third year leading the program, McMahon led the Racers to a 26–6 record that included Ohio Valley Conference regular-season and tournament championships. The Utah Utes men's basketball team, also known as the Runnin' Utes, represents the University of Utah as an NCAA Division I program that plays in the Big-12 Conference, Big-12. Munford is a city in Tipton County, Tennessee. The population was 5,927 at the 2010 census, when it was listed as a town. History Beginning as a small village which grew around the Mt. Zion Methodist Episcopal Church in the early 1850s, it was officially named "Mt. Zion" after the opening of a post office there in 1856. This office closed in 1874, and in 1886 when Mt. Redemptorist Upper School was a parochial Roman Catholic high school in North Baton Rouge, Louisiana, supervised by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Baton Rouge.
