Volleyball Thailand League
The Men's Volleyball Thailand League () is the top-level professional men's volleyball league in Thailand. Contested by eight clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Volleyball Division 2 (Pro Challenge), Volleyball Pro Challenge League. Seasons run from October to March, with teams playing 14 games each. Most games are played on Saturdays and Sundays, with a few games played on weekdays. It is organized by the Thailand Volleyball Association (TVA). The league champion qualifies for the Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship, Asian Club Championship. The league is recognized by the TVA, the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball, FIVB, and the Asian Volleyball Confederation, AVC. The league maintains strong ties with international volleyball governing bodies, adhering to the rules and regulations set by the FIVB and the AVC. Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the program at the Atlanta 1996 Summer Olympics. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball.
