2015–16 Manhattan Jaspers Basketball Team
The 2015–16 Manhattan Jaspers basketball team represented Manhattan College during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Jaspers, led by fifth year head coach Steve Masiello, played their home games at Draddy Gymnasium and were members of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. They finished the season 13–18, 9–11 in MAAC play to finish in sixth place. They defeated Marist in the first round of the MAAC tournament to advance to the quarterfinals where they lost to Siena. Steve Masiello
Stephen John Masiello Jr. (born September 2, 1977) is an American college basketball coach and a former player. He is currently the associate head coach at St. John's. Masiello is a native of White Plains, New York. He graduated from Iona Grammar School in 1991 and attended Archbishop Stepinac High School for two years before transferring to the Harvey School in Katonah, New York. Masiello played collegiately as a walk-on at Kentucky for coaches Rick Pitino and Tubby Smith from 1996 to 2000. Though he rarely played, he was a member of two Final Four teams, including the 1997–98 Wildcats team that won the national championship. Masiello left Kentucky without completing his college degree in communications, despite information to the contrary on his Manhattan College and Louisville website bios. Rose Hill Gymnasium
Rose Hill Gymnasium is a 3,200-seat multi-purpose arena on the Rose Hill campus of Fordham University in The Bronx, New York City, New York. The arena, which opened in 1925, is the oldest on-campus venue currently used primarily for an NCAA Division I basketball team and the second-oldest overall (with the oldest being Northeastern University's Matthews Arena, which opened in 1910 and currently used for its basketball and hockey teams). The volleyball team of Fordham University also uses the gym. The Rose Hill Gymnasium has a gothic facade in keeping with the rest of Fordham University's buildings. The interior design features two high-tech video boards, bleachers that surround all four sides of the court, and additional elevated seating along the court. The 2015–16 Fordham Rams men's basketball team represented Fordham University during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Moraga is a town in Contra Costa County, California, United States. Located in the San Francisco Bay Area, the town is named in honor of Joaquín Moraga, member of the famed Californio family. As of 2020, Moraga had a total population of 16,870 people. Moraga is the home of Saint Mary's College of California. McKeon Pavilion
University Credit Union Pavilion (formerly McKeon Pavilion) is a 3,500-seat multi-purpose arena at Saint Mary's College of California in Moraga, California. Home men's and women's basketball and volleyball games are held in the gymnasium, the team nickname being the Gaels. Many athletic camps for youths also use the gym, primarily in the summer, and other on-campus events, such as the Baccalaureate mass, are also held there. Banners commemorating successful seasons, championships and post-season appearances for all Saint Mary's sports hang on the back wall. At well-attended games, the court-level bleachers opposite the benches are reserved entirely for students. Common criticism of the gym, including by students, is its age and size. The 2015–16 Saint Mary's Gaels men's basketball team represented Saint Mary's College of California during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. This was head coach Randy Bennett's fifteenth season at Saint Mary's. The Gaels competed in the West Coast Conference and played their home games at the McKeon Pavilion. They finished the season 29–6, 15–3 in WCC play to win a share of the WCC regular season conference championship. The University of Bridgeport (UB or UBPT) is a private university in Bridgeport, Connecticut, United States. The university is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education.
