2015–16 Lipscomb Bisons Men's Basketball Team
The 2015–16 Lipscomb Bisons men's basketball team represented Lipscomb University during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Bisons, led by third year head coach Casey Alexander, played their home games at Allen Arena and were members of the Atlantic Sun Conference. They finished the season 12–21, 7–7 in A-Sun play to finish in a tie for fifth place. They defeated Jacksonville in the quarterfinals of the A-Sun tournament to advance to the semifinals where they lost to Stetson. Casey Alexander
Casey Alexander (born June 8, 1972) is the head coach of the men's basketball team at Belmont University. He previously served as head coach at Stetson University and Lipscomb University. Playing career Alexander played college basketball at Belmont University, where he is now a member of the school's athletic hall of fame. Coaching career Immediately after graduation, Alexander joined the Belmont coaching staff under Rick Byrd, where he stayed for 16 seasons. He was a part of a coaching staff that reached four NCAA Tournaments. In 2011, Alexander got his first head coaching job at ASUN Conference rival Stetson, where he guided the Hatters to a 24–36 record in two seasons. On May 18, 2013, Alexander was named the head coach of Lipscomb, remaining in the A-Sun, and returning to his native Tennessee. The 2015–16 Miami RedHawks men's basketball team represented Miami University during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The RedHawks, led by fourth year head coach John Cooper, played their home games at Millett Hall, as members of the East Division of the Mid-American Conference. They finished the season 13–20, 6–12 in MAC play to finish in fifth place in the East Division. They defeated Ball State in the first round of the MAC tournament to advance to the quarterfinals where they lost to Buffalo. Oakland City University
Oakland City University (OCU) is a private university affiliated with the General Baptist Church and located in Oakland City, Indiana. The 2015–16 Milwaukee Panthers men's basketball team represented the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Panthers, led by 11th-year head coach Rob Jeter, played their home games at the UW–Milwaukee Panther Arena and the Klotsche Center, both in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and were members of the Horizon League. They finished the season 20–13, 10–8 in Horizon League play, to finish in fifth place. They defeated Northern Kentucky in the first round of the Horizon League tournament to advance to the second round where they lost to Green Bay. Leavey Center, also known as the Leavey Activities Center or occasionally by its old nickname the Toso Pavilion, is Santa Clara University's indoor basketball arena in Santa Clara, California. It is home to the Santa Clara University Broncos Division I Basketball and Volleyball Teams. It has hosted the West Coast Conference men's basketball tournament ten times. Arena history Leavey Center began life as the Harold J. Toso Pavilion, or Toso Pavilion constructed in 1975. The facility featured an air supported vinyl fabric roof supported by 11 large fans constantly producing a higher air pressure inside the dome than outside, similar to the Pontiac Silverdome or BC Place Stadium. The 2015–16 Santa Clara Broncos men's basketball team represented Santa Clara University during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. This was head coach Kerry Keating's ninth season at Santa Clara. The Broncos played their home games at the Leavey Center and were members of the West Coast Conference.
