2015–16 Kentucky Wildcats Men's Basketball Team
The 2015–16 Kentucky Wildcats men's basketball team represented the University of Kentucky in the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team played its home games in Lexington, Kentucky for the 40th consecutive season at Rupp Arena, with a capacity of 23,500. The team was led by John Calipari, in his seventh season. They were a member of the Southeastern Conference. They finished the season 27–9, 13–5 in SEC play to win a share of the SEC regular season championship. John Calipari
John Vincent Calipari (; born February 10, 1959) is an American basketball coach who is the head coach at the Arkansas Razorbacks men's basketball, University of Arkansas. He has been named Naismith College Coach of the Year three times (1996, 2008, and 2015), and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, Basketball Hall of Fame in 2015. Isaiah Jamal Briscoe (born April 13, 1996) is an American professional basketball player for the Borneo Hornbills of the Indonesian Basketball League (IBL). He was ranked among the top point guards in the national class of 2015 by Rivals.com, Scout.com and ESPN.
