2015–16 Iowa Hawkeyes Men's Basketball Team
The 2015–16 Iowa Hawkeyes men's basketball team represented the University of Iowa in the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team was led by sixth–year head coach Fran McCaffery and played their home games at Carver–Hawkeye Arena. They were members of the Big Ten Conference. They finished season 22–11, 12–6 record in Big Ten play to finish in a four-way tie for third place. In the Big Ten tournament, they were upset by Illinois in the second round. They received an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament where they defeated Temple in the first round before losing to eventual National Champion Villanova in the second round. Fran McCaffery
Francis John McCaffery (born May 23, 1959) is an American college basketball coach who is the current men's basketball head coach at the University of Pennsylvania. He previously served as head coach of Lehigh University, UNC Greensboro, Siena, and Iowa, taking all four programs to the NCAA tournament at least once. McCaffery played college basketball for one season at Wake Forest before transferring to Penn. In his playing days, he acquired the nickname of "White Magic;" he was also referred to as the “Conductor” on the court. He began his college coaching career with a stint at Penn as an assistant coach. McCaffery became an assistant coach at Lehigh in 1983. He was the youngest head coach in Division I when he was promoted to head coach in 1985. Following his career at Lehigh, McCaffery spent 11 years as an assistant at Notre Dame. The 2014–15 Davidson Wildcats men's basketball team represented Davidson College during the 2014–15 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Wildcats, led by 26th year head coach Bob McKillop, played their home games at the John M. Belk Arena and were first year members of the Atlantic 10 Conference. They finished the season 24–8, 14–4 in A-10 play to win the A-10 regular season championship. They advanced to the semifinals of the A-10 tournament where they lost to VCU. Isaiah Moss
Isaiah Malik Moss (born October 8, 1996) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Rockhampton Rockets of the NBL1 North. He played college basketball for Iowa and Kansas. Early life Moss grew up in suburban Chicago and played football, basketball, and soccer. He joined his first travel basketball team in third grade.
