2015–16 Inter Milan Season
The 2015–16 season was Inter Milan, Football Club Internazionale Milano's 107th in existence and 100th consecutive season in the top flight of Football in Italy, Italian football. Season overview Internazionale bought several players (Felipe Melo, Stevan Jovetić, Adem Ljajić, Miranda (footballer, born 1984), Miranda, Geoffrey Kondogbia, Jeison Murillo, Ivan Perišić and Alex Telles), which were for the most part from abroad. Adem Ljajić
Adem Ljajić ( sr-Cyrl, Адем Љајић, ; born 29 September 1991) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Novi Pazar. Ljajić began his career with FK Jošanica, and later Partizan, with whom he made his debut in the Serbian SuperLiga and UEFA Champions League. In January 2010, he was set to join England's Manchester United, but the club withdrew its option to sign him in December 2009. Instead, he joined Fiorentina for a reported fee of around €8 million in January 2010. Tommaso Berni (born 6 March 1983) is a retired Italian professional footballer who last played as a goalkeeper for Inter Milan. Club career Early career Berni started his career at Fiorentina. In 1998, he joined Inter Milan. He was a backup goalkeeper for their Primavera youth team in 2001 Torneo di Viareggio. Marco Varaldi was the starting keeper. Juan Pablo Carrizo (born 6 May 1984) is an Argentine former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He started his professional career with River Plate, where he played until 2008, winning the 2008 Clausura. Samir Handanović (born 14 July 1984) is a Slovenian former professional Association football, footballer who played as a Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper. Since August 2024, he is the head coach of Inter Milan's Inter Milan Youth Sector, under-17 team. Before moving to Italy, Handanović played in his home country of Slovenia.
