2015–16 George Washington Colonials Women's Basketball Team
The 2015–16 George Washington Colonials women's basketball team represented George Washington University during the 2015–16 college basketball season. The Colonials, led by fourth year head coach Jonathan Tsipis, were members of the Atlantic 10 Conference and played their home games at the Charles E. Smith Center. They finished the season 26–7, 13–3 in A-10 play to share the A-10 regular season title with Duquesne and Saint Louis. They won the A-10 tournament by defeating Duquesne and received an automatic bid to the NCAA women's tournament, where they lost to Kansas State in the first round. On March 28, it was announced that Jonathan Tsipis resigned from George Washington to accept the head coaching job at Wisconsin. Jonathan Tsipis
Jonathan Peter Tsipis (born November 7, 1972) is the current head coach of the Western Carolina women's team. Previously, he was the head coach of the Wisconsin Badgers women's basketball team. Career He was previously the head coach of the George Washington University women's basketball team, where he had an overall record of 92–38 in four years. During the 2014–15 season he led George Washington to an overall record of 29–4 and A10 regular season and tournament championships. Winslow Township High School (WTHS) is a four-year comprehensive public high school in the Atco section of Winslow Township, in Camden County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, that serves students in ninth through twelfth grades as the lone secondary school of the Winslow Township School District.
