2015–16 Football Superleague Of Kosovo
The 2015–16 Football Superleague of Kosovo was the 17th season of football in Kosovo. The season began on 22 August 2015 and ended on 22 May 2016; the relegation play-offs were on 1/2 June 2016. Feronikeli were the defending champions. A total of 12 teams competed in the league: nine sides from the 2014–15 season and three promoted from the Liga e Parë campaign. Liria, Gjilani and Llapi were each promoted to the top-flight. Teams League table With Kosovo's admittance to FIFA and UEFA on 3 May 2016, UEFA evaluated the Raiffeisen Superliga's readiness to enter the UEFA Champions League for its 2016–17 season. Football Superleague Of Kosovo
The Football Superleague of Kosovo (), also known as the ALBI MALL Superleague of Kosovo () for sponsorship reasons with Albi Mall, is the top level of the Football in Kosovo#Men's, Kosovar football league system. The Superleague is organized by the Football Federation of Kosovo and the division currently has a 10-team format. The clubs play each other four times during the season for a 36-match schedule. At the end of the season, the bottom two teams in the division are relegated to the second tier, First Football League of Kosovo. The Superleague ran outside FIFA and UEFA until Kosovo was admitted to both organizations, on 3 May 2016. KF Besa Pejë
Football Club Besa Peja () is a football club based in Peja, Kosovo. Their home ground is Shahin Haxhiislami and they compete in the Second Football League of Kosovo. The club went defunct after having lots of financial problems and not being able to climb up the Kosovo football league system, but were refounded the following year after a merger with another club, thus adopting a new name, new colors for the club and a new crest. Istok, Kosovo
Istog ( sq-definite, Istogu; sr-Cyrl-Latn, Исток, Istok) or Burim is a town and municipality located in the District of Peja of western Kosovo. According to the 2011 census, the city of Istog has 5,115 inhabitants, while the municipality has 39,289 inhabitants. Based on the population estimates from the Kosovo Agency of Statistics in 2016, the municipality has 39,982 inhabitants. Hajvalia
Hajvalia ( sr-Cyrl, Ајвалија) is a village in the municipality of Pristina, Kosovo. It has a population of 7,702 inhabitants. A small creek begins in the town, while another begins north-east of the town and runs through it. After 1970, there has been an increase in population, due to the proximity with Prishtinë. The road here passes through Gjilan and Prishtinë and connects with M25.2 way. Demographics Places of interest There is a zinc and silver mine, which opened in 1953 and have been completely renovated, namely the Trepča Mines-Pristina (Hajvalia). Rexhep Rexhepi Stadium
The Rexhep Rexhepi Stadium is located in Drenas, Kosovo, and serves as the home ground for KF Feronikeli, a football club that competes in the Football Superleague of Kosovo. The stadium is named after Rexhep Rexhepi, a former player and captain of KF Feronikeli who was also a member of the Kosovo Liberation Army and was killed during the Kosovo War in 1999. () is an ultras group in Gjilan, Kosovo. Founded in January, 1998, Intelektualët are one of the major football fan groups in Kosovo and one of the largest in Southeast Europe. One thing that distinguishes this group is that they support all sports clubs named Drita in Gjilan. History Drita in the 1997–98 championship was great wherever in Kosovo and in many sporting games. In the Gjilan Derby the board succumbed and after many debates the name Intelektualët (Intellectuals) was assigned because most of the players except they played were also writers, poets, politicians and so on. The Intellectuals are the biggest ultras group in Kosovo, with many transfers outside Gjilan. Gjilan ( sq-definite, Gjilani) or Gnjilane ( sr-Cyrl, Гњилане) is the third most populous city in Kosovo and it serves as both a municipality and the administrative center of the District of Gjilan, Gjilan District.
