2015–16 Eastern Washington Eagles Women's Basketball Team
The 2015–16 Eastern Washington Eagles Women's basketball team represented Eastern Washington University during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Eagles, led by fifteenth-year head coach Wendy Schuller, played their home games at Reese Court. They were members of the Big Sky Conference. They finished the season 20–12, 13–5 in Big Sky play, to finish in a three-way tie for second place. They advanced to the semifinals of the 2016 Big Sky Conference women's basketball tournament, Big Sky women's tournament where they lost to 2015–16 Idaho State Bengals women's basketball team, Idaho State. Despite having 20 wins, they were not invited to a postseason tournament. Wendy Schuller
Wendy Luebbers Schuller is an American basketball coach who was, until 2021, the head coach for the Eastern Washington Eagles women's basketball team, a position she had held since 2001. Born in Redlands, California, Schuller attended and played for Fresno Pacific University as a shooting guard for the Fresno Pacific Sunbirds, Sunbirds. Before graduating in 1992, she was selected as an National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, NAIA Academic All-American. As coach at Eastern Washington, Schuller has advanced to the Big Sky Conference women's basketball tournament, Big Sky Conference tournament 16 times. Woodrow Wilson High School (Tacoma, Washington)
Silas High School is a four-year public secondary school in Tacoma, Washington. It is one of five traditional high schools in the Tacoma Public Schools and is located at the intersection of Orchard Street and 11th Street. Silas' current principal is Bernadette Ray; assistant principals are Alli Bennett, and Rindi Hartman. The school was formerly named Woodrow Wilson High School from its founding in 1958 until July 2021 after a wave of name changes following the 2020 racial protests that swept the world. Its attendance boundary includes Ruston. HillTop artists Dale Chihuly, a glass artist who graduated from the school, established HillTop Artists, a glass-working program at Silas. Eastern Oregon University (EOU) (officially designated as Oregon’s Rural University) is a public university in La Grande, Oregon. It was formerly part of the since dissolved Oregon University System. EOU was founded in 1929 as a teacher’s college. The university offers bachelor's and master's degrees. The school's athletic teams, the Mountaineers, are members of the Cascade and Frontier conferences of the NAIA. The Saint Martin's Saints (also SMU Saints) are the 13 varsity athletic teams that represent Saint Martin's University, located in Lacey, Washington, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports. Lewiston High School (Idaho)
Lewiston High School is a four-year public secondary school in Lewiston, Idaho, the only traditional high school in the Lewiston School District. This is only a recent development though, the change being implemented in 2020-21 school year. The school colors of LHS are purple and gold and the mascot is Joe Bengal. After 92 years of service, the 1928 building (1114 Ninth Avenue) closed in 2020, and the new campus is approximately southeast. Athletics Lewiston competes in IHSAA Class 5A with the largest schools in the state, and its conference is the Inland Empire League (5A) with Coeur d'Alene, Lake City, and Post Falls; all about two hours north in Kootenai County. Lewiston has long-term rivalries with adjacent Clarkston and also with Moscow, about north on the adjoining Palouse.
