The 2015–16 season was Crystal Palace F.C., Crystal Palace's third consecutive season in the Premier League and their 110th year in existence. The club participated in the 2015–16 Premier League, Premier League, 2015–16 FA Cup, FA Cup and 2015–16 Football League Cup, League Cup. Dwight Gayle
Dwight Devon Boyd Gayle (born 17 October 1989) is an English former professional footballer who played as a striker. Gayle played in the Arsenal academy as a youth, but was released in 2007, after which he began his career with Ryan of the Essex Olympian Football League. In subsequent seasons, he would work his way back up through the English football pyramid via stints at Stansted, Bishop's Stortford, Dagenham & Redbridge and Peterborough United, before establishing himself in the Premier League with Crystal Palace. In 2016, he signed for Newcastle United where he spent six years scoring 34 goals in 122 games. Gayle joined Stoke City in July 2022 before leaving in February 2024. Luke Gambin
Luke David Gambin (born 16 March 1993) is a professional footballer who last played as a winger for club Hayes & Yeading United. Born in England, he represents the Malta national team. In 2025, Gambin became a player in the 1st season of the Baller League UK, a six-a-side indoor football competition. He was chosen to play for Wembley Rangers AFC, a team which is run by Ian Wright and Chloe Kelly. John Akinde
Job Ayo Akinde (born 8 July 1989), known as John Akinde, is an English professional footballer who plays for club Braintree Town. He previously played for Barnet from 2014 to 2018 and for Lincoln City from 2018 to 2020. In the 2014–15 season, he led the Conference Premier league in scoring, helping Barnet win the league. In the 2018–19 season, he led Lincoln City in scoring, helping them win League Two. Career Akinde's youth career started at Tottenham. Dagenham () is a town in East London, England, within the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. Dagenham is centred east of Charing Cross. The 2015–16 FA Cup (also known as the FA Challenge Cup) was the 135th edition of the oldest recognised football tournament in the world. It was sponsored by Emirates, and known as The Emirates FA Cup for sponsorship purposes. It began with the extra preliminary round on 15 August 2015, and concluded with the final on 21 May 2016.
