2015–16 Croatian Third Football League
The 2015–16 Treća HNL season is the 25th since its establishment. The first matches of the season will be played on 22 August 2015, and the season will end on 4 June 2016. Croatian Third Football League
The Treća nogometna liga (), commonly Treća NL or 3. NL, is the fourth tier of the Croatian football league system. The league was reestablished in 2022 following the reconstruction of league system in Croatia. It is operated by the Croatian Football Federation. History The fourth Croatian football league was played for the first time in 2006, after the merger of the 2. HNL - North and 2. HNL - South into a single 2. HNL. With the aforementioned changes, part of the clubs from the second league were relegated to the 3. HNL, and part of the clubs from the third leagues, together with the best clubs of the county leagues, formed the newly created groups of the 4. HNL. After the dissolution of the 4. Slavonski Brod (, ), commonly shortened to simply Brod, is a city in eastern Croatia, near the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina. Đakovo
Đakovo (; , , sr-Cyrl, Ђаково) is a town in the region of Slavonia, Croatia. Đakovo is the centre of the fertile and rich Đakovo region ( ). Bijelo Brdo, Croatia
Bijelo Brdo ( sr-cyr, Бијело Брдо, , ) is a village in the Erdut municipality in eastern Croatia. It is connected by the D213 road and by R202 railway. It has a total of 1,961 inhabitants (2011). Belišće
Belišće () ( sr-Cyrl, Белишће, ) is a town in Croatia, located in the region of Slavonia, Osijek-Baranja County, at the altitude of 93 m. The population of the town is 6,518 (2011), with 10,825 in the municipality. In 2011 census, the majority were Croats. HNK Vukovar '91
HNK Vukovar '91 was a Croatian football club based in the river port of Vukovar. History Under the name NK Vukovar '91, club was founded in Zagreb by Vukovar refugees during the Croatian War of Independence. In 1992, newly founded Vukovar '91 merged with NK Sloga, an older club based in Vukovar. The club's greatest success came in the 1998–99 season, when Vukovar won the Croatian second division, earning the team promotion to the Prva HNL. They lasted only one season in the top flight and were relegated after finishing last. In the 2001–02 season, they finished first in the North Division of Druga HNL but were defeated by Šibenik in a two-legged promotion play-off. NK Višnjevac
NK Višnjevac is a Croatian football club based in the village of Višnjevac, near Osijek. The team won the Treća HNL East Division in 2003–04, but did not apply for promotion to the second division. As of 2023, they participate in the MŽNL Osijek-Vinkovci, the 5th level of Croatian football. History NK Višnjevac were founded in 1948. The club, then playing in the third division, were sanctioned in 2009 after they wore a kit with a political party's logo on it. They won the county cup in 2012 leading to an appearance in the 2012-13 Croatian cup where they lost to Istra 1961 in the 1/16th round. Nogometni klub Varaždin, commonly referred to as NK Varaždin, is a Croatian professional football club based in Varaždin, that competes in the Croatian Football League, the top tier of Croatian football. History The club was founded as FC Varaždin Football School () as a phoenix club of NK Varaždin (1931–2015) in 2012 after the latter's suspension; the club was dissolved during the second part of the 2011–12 season due to high financial debt.
