2015–16 California Golden Bears Men's Basketball Team
The 2015–16 California Golden Bears men's basketball team represented the University of California, Berkeley in the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. This was Cuonzo Martin's second year as head coach at California. The Golden Bears played their home games at Haas Pavilion as members of the Pac-12 Conference. They finished the season 23–11, 12–6 in Pac-12 play to finish in a tie for third place. They defeated Oregon State in the quarterfinals of the Pac-12 tournament to advance to the semifinals where they lost to Utah. They received an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament where they lost in the first round to Hawaii. Previous season The 2014–15 Cal Golden Bears finished the season with an overall record of 18–15, and 7–11 in conference play. Windward School
Windward School is an independent school in the Mar Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles, California, accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. It was founded by writer/teacher Shirley Windward in 1971. The school currently enrolls 650 students in grades 7 through 12. History In 1971, two former Paul Revere Middle School teachers, Carl Parsons and Shirley Windward (for whom the school is named), founded the school in order to open up their classes to young people on the west side of Los Angeles. Ivan Charles Rabb Jr. (born February 4, 1997) is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the California Golden Bears. Growing up in California, he was named the top high school player in the state as a senior in 2015. He also received national recognition as an All-American.
