2015–16 Barnet F.C. Season
The 2015–16 Barnet F.C. season was the team's 128th year in existence, and their first back in Football League Two, League Two since the 2012–13 Football League Two, 2012–13 season, after gaining promotion in the 2014–15 Football Conference, 2014–15 season. Along with competing in League Two, the club also participated in the FA Cup, Football League Cup, League Cup and Football League Trophy. The season covers the period from 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2016. Mauro Alexandre da Silva Vilhete (born 10 May 1993) is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. He plays for Hemel Hempstead Town. Born in Portugal, he plays for the São Tomé and Príncipe national team. Career Club Born in Rio de Mouro, Sintra, Portugal, Vilhete moved to Barnet, England at a young age. He attended The Ravenscroft School, where he was tasked with analysing data from Barnet F.C. matches. He joined Barnet's youth team in 2009 after turning down an offer of a scholarship from Aston Villa. Following a series of injuries to first-team regulars, manager Ian Hendon called him into the first-team squad in November 2009, however he only appeared on the bench during this time. Curtis James Weston (born 24 January 1987) is an English professional footballer who plays for club Mickleover. Playing career Born in Greenwich, London, Weston attended Erith Secondary School, and was spotted by a Millwall scout when playing for the school team and subsequently joined Millwall's youth academy. Andrew Kyere Yiadom (born 2 December 1991) is a professional footballer who plays as a right back or right midfielder for club Reading. Michael Nelson (footballer)
Michael John Nelson (born 23 March 1980) is a former professional footballer who played as a defender. He is currently the manager of Chester-le-Street United. Nelson started his career at semi-professional level, playing for Spennymoor United, Leek Town and Bishop Auckland. His performances earned him a move to Bury in 2001. After winning the Bury Player of the Year award in 2002–03, Nelson moved to third tier Hartlepool United. Bondz Bondzanga N'Gala (born 13 September 1989) is an English former professional footballer. He previously played for Plymouth Argyle, Yeovil Town, Barnet and Crawley Town. Bira Dembélé (born 22 March 1988) is a French footballer. Club career Stade Rennais Born in Villepinte, Seine-Saint-Denis, France, Dembélé worked his way through the Stade Rennais youth system, having previously played for various youth teams. Elliott George Johnson (born 17 August 1994) is an English professional footballer who plays as a left-back for club Hednesford Town. Career Johnson was born in Hendon, London. He was first registered as a first-team player at Barnet as a 16-year-old in October 2010, and featured on the bench in several games in the 2010–11 and 2011–12 seasons.
