2015 World Archery Championships – Women's Team Recurve
The women's team recurve competition at the 2015 World Archery Championships took place from 26 July to 2 August in Copenhagen, Denmark. A record 45 countries entered the full quota of 3 archers into the qualification round, thus becoming eligible for the team competition. The combined totals of the 3 archers from each country in the qualification round were added together, and the 16 teams with the highest combined scores competed in the elimination rounds. Countries reaching the quarterfinals earned a team qualification spot (and corresponding 3 individual qualifying spots) for the 2016 Summer Olympics. Schedule All times are UTC+01:00. Recurve Bow
In archery, a recurve bow is one of the main Bow shape, shapes a bow (weapon), bow can take, with limbs that curve away from the archer when unstrung. A recurve bow stores more energy and delivers energy more efficiently than the equivalent straight-limbed bow, giving a greater amount of energy and speed to the arrow. Aída Nabila Román Arroyo (born May 21, 1988) is a Mexican archer. A three-time Olympian, she won silver medal in the women's individual event at the 2012 Summer Olympics and was the women's World Indoor Archery Champion in 2014. Khatuna Narimanidze ( ka, ხათუნა ნარიმანიძე; born 2 February 1974) is an athlete from Georgia. She competes in archery. 2004 Summer Olympics Narimanidze represented Georgia at the 2004 Summer Olympics. She placed 41st in the women's individual ranking round with a 72-arrow score of 620. In the first round of elimination, she faced 24th-ranked Almudena Gallardo of Spain. Kristine Esebua ( ka, ქრისტინე ესებუა; born 19 March 1985, Khobi) is an archer from the nation of Georgia who now represents Canada. She has competed at four Olympic Games in archery. Lisa Unruh
Lisa Unruh (born 12 April 1988) is a German athlete who competes in recurve archery. Unruh represented Germany at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro winning the silver medal. Her silver medal was the first individual medal in archery her country has ever won at the Olympic Games. Elena Richter (born 3 July 1989) is a retired German archer. She contested the 2012 Summer Olympics in the women's individual competition, where she was eliminated in the second knockout round placing 30th place in the preliminary ranking round. Kaori Kawanaka
is a Japanese archer who competed at the 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games. Kawanaka won a bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the women's team event with teammates Ren Hayakawa and Miki Kanie. Their success, which came after a narrow victory over Russia in the third-place match, marked the first Olympic medal for Japan in team archery. Kawanaka was less successful in the women's individual event, losing in the opening elimination round. Kawanaka has contested the Asian Games twice.
