2015 Rugby World Cup Pool A
Pool A of the 2015 Rugby World Cup began on 18 September and was completed on 10 October 2015. The pool was composed of hosts England, as well as the third- and fourth-placed teams from 2011, Australia and Wales. They were joined by the Oceania qualifier, Fiji, and the repechage qualifier, Uruguay. The group was called the ''group of death'', with four of the five teams in the top 10 of the World Rugby Rankings going into the tournament. Australia and Wales qualified for the quarter-finals. Ben Volavola
Ben Volavola (born 13 January 1991) is an Australian-born Fijian international rugby union footballer who plays for Racing 92. He has previously played for Super Rugby clubs such as the , , and most recently the . Volavola can play as either a fly-half or full back. Early life Ben Volavola was born in Sydney, Australia and is of Fijian and Indo-Fijian descent. He is the grandson of former Suva Mayor, Ratu Peni Volavola, and of the former Suva netball representative Vasiti Mea Naqova. He moved back to Fiji during his early years. Tom Wood (rugby Union)
Tom Wood (born 3 November 1986) is a former English rugby union player for Northampton Saints in the Aviva Premiership. Wood plays as flanker but can also play at number eight. Club career Wood, who was educated at the Woodlands School and Sports College, Coventry, made his debut for Worcester Warriors against Bath in the opening round of the 2007–08 Guinness Premiership. Chris Robshaw
Chris Robshaw (born 4 June 1986) is an English former rugby union player. He was the captain of the England national rugby union team from January 2012 until December 2015. Robshaw's position of choice was in the back row of the scrum, usually flanker. Benjamin John Morgan (born 18 February 1989) is an England international rugby union player currently plays at number eight for Gloucester. Morgan scored his first try for the Scarlets on 22 April 2011 against Glasgow Warriors. Morgan went to Kingswood Primary School, Gloucestershire and Katharine Lady Berkeley's Secondary School. Jonathan James May (born 1 April 1990) is a professional rugby union player for Gloucester in Premiership Rugby and for the national team. Bradley Barritt (born 7 August 1986) is a South African-born former rugby union player. He played the position of centre. Early life Barritt attended Kearsney College. Career Barritt's debut season was in 2006 for the and Sharks in the Currie Cup and Super 14.
