2015 PDC Pro Tour
The 2015 PDC Pro Tour was a series of non-televised darts tournaments organised by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). Professional Dart Players Association Players Championships, UK Open Qualifiers, and European Tour events were the events that made up the Pro Tour. This year there were 35 PDC Pro Tour events held – 20 Players Championships, six UK Open Qualifiers, and nine European Tour events. Prize money Prize money for each Players Championship increased from £50,000 to £60,000 per event and the European Tour increased from £100,000 to £115,000 per event. UK Open Qualifiers stayed the same as last year. PDC Pro Tour Card 128 players were granted Tour Cards, which enabled them to participate in all Players Championships, UK Open Qualifiers and European Tour events. PDC Pro Tour
The PDC Pro Tour is a series of non-televised darts tournaments organised by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). They comprise Professional Dart Players Association (PDPA) Players Championships and European Tour events. Only four players have gone on to win at least 30 titles on the PDC Pro Tour. Michael van Gerwen has won the most Pro Tour titles with 89. Phil Taylor is second on the list winning 70 events. Gary Anderson is in third, winning 39 events, and Peter Wright is in fourth, winning 34 events, as of May 2025. 2024 PDC Pro Tour Order of Merit as of 31 Oct:Prize money in the tables is in units of £1,000. Pro Tour Card Since 2011, the PDC Pro Tour has operated a Tour Card system. 128 players are granted Tour Cards, which enables them to participate in all Players Championships. K2 Leisure Centre
K2 is a sports and leisure facility covering just over in Pease Pottage Hill Crawley, UK. Development The building belongs to Crawley Borough Council and was completed in 2005 for £25.76m. It replaced Crawley leisure centre (built in 1964) the same year, which was sold for £32m in order to fund K2 (Crawley also received £5m through land swaps with the county council). John Thraves; Crawley Council member is quoted as saying "I am very pleased to tell rate-payers of Crawley that it has not cost them a penny" in an interview with the BBC. In January 2018 it received upgrades to its gym equipment worth £300,000. Riesa
Riesa (; ) is a town in the district of Meißen in Saxony, Germany. It is located on the river Elbe, approximately northwest of Dresden. History The name ''Riesa'' is derived from Slavic ''Riezowe''. This name, romanised as "Rezoa", appears first in October 1119 in a document from Pope Callixtus II. The world's first 110 kV power line was installed between Riesa and Lauchhammer in 1912. Between 1952 and 1994, Riesa was the seat of a district. During the 1980s, Riesa was the headquarters of the Group of Soviet Forces in Germany's 9th Tank Division. On the 11th of January 2025 the far-right party Alternative for Germany, AfD held their federal party conference in Riesa. Around 12,000 people protested the conference and blocked entrances to the town. Population history The town grew from the start of the 20th century due to industrialisation. The 2015 International Darts Open was the fifth of nine PDC European Tour events on the 2015 PDC Pro Tour. The tournament took place at the SACHSENarena, Riesa, between 19–21 June 2015. It featured a field of 48 players and £115,000 in prize money, with £25,000 going to the winner. Michael Smith won his second European title after defeating Benito van de Pas 6–3 in the final. Van de Pas ended Michael van Gerwen's winning streak of 21 games on the 2015 European tour and hit the two best checkouts (167 and 158) of the tournament en route to the final. Victoria Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Gibraltar. It is currently used mostly for Association football, football matches, but also hosts the annual Gibraltar Music Festival.
