2015 Ohio Valley Conference Men's Basketball Tournament
The 2015 Ohio Valley Conference men's basketball tournament was held March 4–7 at Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. Format The OVC tournament was an eight-team tournament with the third and fourth seeds receiving a first round bye and the two divisional winners receiving byes through to the semifinals. The top team in each division, based on conference winning percentage, automatically earned a berth into the tournament. The next six teams with the highest conference winning percentage also earned a bid, regardless of division. The No. 1 seed went to the divisional winner with the higher conference winning percentage, while the No. 2 seed automatically went to the other divisional winner. The remaining six teams were seeded 3–8 by conference winning percentage, regardless of division. Nashville Municipal Auditorium
The Nashville Municipal Auditorium is an indoor sports and concert venue in Nashville, Tennessee. It opened October 7, 1962 with both an arena and exhibition hall. The former exhibition hall has been permanent home to the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum since 2013. Nashville Municipal Auditorium was previously home to various teams, most notably the Belmont Bruins of the National Collegiate Athletic Association from 2001–2003. The 2014–15 Morehead State Eagles men's basketball team represented Morehead State University during the 2014–15 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The 2014–15 Southeast Missouri State Redhawks men's basketball team represented Southeast Missouri State University during the 2014–15 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Redhawks, led by sixth year head coach Dickey Nutt, played their home games at the Show Me Center and were members of the West Division of the Ohio Valley Conference. The 2014–15 SIU Edwardsville Cougars men's basketball team represented Southern Illinois University Edwardsville during the 2014–15 NCAA Division I men's basketball season.
