The 2015 IIHF U18 Women's World Championship Division I was the two international under-18 women ice hockey tournaments organised by the International Ice Hockey Federation. Lenka Čurmová
Lenka Čurmová (born 8 April 1997) is a Slovak ice hockey defender. She most recently played in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL) with Leksands IF during the 2022–23 season. Čurmová and Slovak national team teammate Iveta Klimášová were the first Slovak players to play in the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF). Playing career Čurmová began her career at age twelve, debuting with ŽHK Šarišanka Prešov in the 2009–10 season of the 1.liga žien, Slovakia’s top-tier women’s league. She played with Šarišanka for six seasons, before transferring to HC ŠKP Bratislava of the Elite Women's Hockey League (EWHL). IIHF World Women's U18 Championship Division I
The International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF; ; ) is a worldwide governing body for ice hockey. It is based in Zurich, Switzerland, and has 84 member countries. The IIHF maintains the IIHF World Ranking based on international ice hockey tournaments. Rules of play for IIHF events differ from hockey in North America and the rules of the National Hockey League (NHL). Decisions of the IIHF can be appealed through the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne, Switzerland. The IIHF maintains its own hall of fame for international ice hockey. Spodek Arena
Spodek is a multipurpose arena complex in Katowice, Poland, opened on 9 May 1971. Aside from the main dome, the complex includes a gym, an ice rink, a hotel and three large car parks. It was the largest indoor venue of its kind in Poland until it was surpassed by Tauron Arena in 2014. The Spodek hosts many important cultural and business events. Music concerts are especially common non-sport events. It can hold around 11,500 people, although this number is in practice limited to 10,000 or even 8,000 due to stage set-ups obscuring the view. Estelle Duvin
Estelle Duvin (born 1 February 1997) is a French ice hockey centre and alternate captain of the French national team, currently playing in the Swiss Women's League (SWHL A) with SC Bern Frauen. Playing career Duvin attended the University of Maine, but was unable to play for the Black Bears due to differences in the French and American school systems. She spent the year training before moving on to the hockey program at the Université de Montréal. In her Carabins debut on 16 October 2016, a 5–1 victory over Concordia University, Duvin recorded an assist. The 2016 IIHF U18 Women's World Championship Division I and 2016 IIHF U18 Women's World Championship Division I Qualification were a pair of international under-18 women's ice hockey tournaments run by the International Ice Hockey Federation. The Division I and Division I Qualification tournaments made up the second and third level of competition at the 2016 IIHF World Women's U18 Championships respectively. The Division I tournament took place between 10 January and 16 January 2016 in Miskolc, Hungary.
