2015 CONCACAF Awards
The 2015 CONCACAF Awards is the third year for CONCACAF's awards for the top region football players, coaches and referees of the year. The shortlists were published on 12 January 2016. The results were announced on 22 January 2016. Chicago Red Stars
Chicago Stars Football Club is an American professional soccer team based in the Chicago metropolitan area that competes in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). A founding member of the Women's Professional Soccer (WPS) league as the Chicago Red Stars, they have played in the NWSL since 2013. The Stars play their home games at SeatGeek Stadium. They have reached the NWSL Championship twice, losing each time in 2019 and 2021. The team played in WPS in 2009 and 2010. After leaving WPS in December 2010 due to the club's financial issues, the club joined the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) for the 2011 season. Jill Ellis
Jillian Anne Ellis (born 6 September 1966) is an English-American football manager and executive who is the Chief Football Officer of FIFA and will serve as part of the world governing body's executive management team, driving the development and implementation of FIFA's global football strategy. Ellis had previously been president of San Diego Wave FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) since its expansion in 2021. Ellis coached the United States women's national team from 2014 to 2019 and won two FIFA Women's World Cups in 2015 and 2019, making her the second coach to win consecutive World Cups. Michelle Betos
Michelle Jenny Betos (born February 20, 1988) is an American professional soccer coach and player who plays as a goalkeeper for NJ/NY Gotham FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). She is perhaps best known for being the first NWSL goalkeeper to score a goal in league play. Betos played collegiate soccer at the University of Georgia and signed her first pro contract with the USL W-League Atlanta Silverbacks in 2009. Prior to the founding of the NWSL, she played for Club Atlético River Plate, Apollon Limassol, and WPSL Elite teams Boston Aztec and New York Fury. Michele Dalton is a retired American professional soccer goalkeeper. Early life Dalton was three-time all-conference, all-area and all-sectional selection at John Hersey High School. She played her youth club soccer for Chicago Eclipse Select during the 2006–2008 seasons. Prior to that, she played for a small, local club Mount Prospect Green and White S.C. from 1993 to 2006. Kimika Forbes
Kimika Sanell Forbes (born 26 August 1990) is a Tobagonian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Colombian club Millonarios FC and the Trinidad and Tobago women's national team, which she represents since 2006. Forbes played for Paraguayan club Sportivo Limpeño at the 2016 Copa Libertadores Femenina, which the club went on to win, with Forbes then being shortlisted as CONCACAF Goalkeeper of the Year and also becoming the first Caribbean footballer to win a trophy in CONMEBOL. Erin Katrina McLeod (born February 26, 1983) is a Canadian soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for Halifax Tides FC of the Northern Super League.
