2014–15 Women's FIH Hockey World League Semifinals
The 2014–15 Women's FIH Hockey World League Semifinals took place in June and July 2015. A total of 20 teams competed in 2 events in this round of the tournament playing for 7 berths in the Final, played between 21 and 29 November 2015 in Rosario, Argentina. This round also served as a qualifier for the 2016 Summer Olympics as the 7 highest placed teams apart from the five continental champions qualified. Qualification 11 teams ranked between 1st and 11th in the FIH World Rankings current at the time of seeking entries for the competition qualified automatically, in addition to 7 teams qualified from Round 2 and two nations that did not meet ranking criteria and were exempt from Round 2 to host a Semifinal. Jodie Kenny
Jodie Kenny (née Schulz; born 18 August 1987) is an Australian field hockey player. Kenny was a member of the Australia women's national field hockey team that were defeated by the Netherlands women's national field hockey team in the final of the 2014 Women's Hockey World Cup. She was a member of the Australian team that defeated England in the women's field hockey final at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, scoring a goal in the last minute of regular time that took the match into a penalty shoot-out. Rocío Ybarra Solaun (born 26 December 1984) is a field hockey defender from Spain, who represented her native country at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, the 2008 Games in Beijing and the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro, where she was captain (Spain did not qualify for the field hockey event at the 2012 Olympics). Hannah Louise Macleod (born 9 June 1984) is an English field hockey player. Macleod began her youth career at St Ives Hockey Club, Cambridge, and rose up the ranks to play for their first team. She went on to play club hockey for St Albans, Leicester and Loughborough Students. She made her international debut in 2003. She competed for the Great Britain at the 2012 Summer Olympics, helping the team win bronze.
