The 2014–15 Western Illinois Leathernecks men's basketball team represented Western Illinois University during the 2014–15 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Leathernecks, led by first year head coach Billy Wright, played their home games at Western Hall and were members of The Summit League. They finished the season 8–20, 3–13 in Summit League play to finish in last place. They lost in the quarterfinals of The Summit League tournament to South Dakota State. Billy Wright (basketball)
William Eugene Wright Jr. (born September 15, 1974) is an American basketball coach, currently head coach at Richmond High School in Richmond, Indiana. He was most recently head coach at Western Illinois University. He was recently hired by his high school alma mater Richmond High School to become the head coach of the men’s basketball team. The 2014–15 Southeastern Louisiana Lions basketball team represented Southeastern Louisiana University during the 2014–15 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Lions, led by first year head coach Jay Ladner, played their home games at the University Center (Southeastern Louisiana), University Center and are members of the Southland Conference. Jay Ladner was hired at the end of the 2013-14 after winning the NJCAA Division I National Championship at Jones County Junior College. The Lions were picked to finish seventh (7th) in both the Southland Conference Coaches' Poll and the Sports Information Directors Poll. The 2014–15 UIC Flames men's basketball team represented the University of Illinois at Chicago in the 2014–15 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Their head coach was Howard Moore, serving his fifth year. The Flames played their home games at the UIC Pavilion and were members of the Horizon League.
