2014–15 UTSA Roadrunners Men's Basketball Team
The 2014–15 UTSA Roadrunners men's basketball team represented the University of Texas at San Antonio during the 2014–15 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Roadrunners, led by ninth year head coach Brooks Thompson, played their home games at the Convocation Center and were members of Conference USA. They finished the season 14–16, 8–10 in C-USA play in a 4-way tie for seventh place. They lost in the first round of the C-USA tournament to FIU. Previous season The Roadrunners finished the season 11–22, 4–12 in C-USA play to finished the season 8–22, 4–12 in C-USA play to finish in a tie for fourteenth place. Brooks Thompson
Brooks James Thompson (July 19, 1970 – June 9, 2016) was an American basketball coach and player, who played for the Orlando Magic, Utah Jazz, Denver Nuggets, Phoenix Suns and New York Knicks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). College career Thompson, a tall point guard, attended and played high school basketball at Littleton High, in Littleton, Colorado. He was named the Colorado Player of the Year in 1989, and he led Littleton to a 24–0 record, and the state's 4A title. After high school, Thompson played college basketball at Texas A&M University. He played with the school's men's team, the Texas A&M Aggies, from 1989 to 1991. Thompson also played college basketball at Oklahoma State University, where he played with the Oklahoma State Cowboys, from 1992 to 1994. Saginaw High School (Texas)
Saginaw High School opened in 2005 as the second high school serving the Eagle Mountain-Saginaw Independent School District (EMS-ISD). It is a 5-A school located in Saginaw, Texas, United States. The mascot is the Rough Rider, and the school colors are cardinal red and Vegas gold. Enrollment is approximately 2,200 students. Westwind Preparatory Academy was a college preparatory public charter high school in Phoenix, Arizona, operated by Westwind Children's Services, a nonprofit operator of several other Phoenix-area charter schools, Westwind Community Schools.
