2014–15 Texas–Pan American Broncs Men's Basketball Team
The 2014–15 Texas–Pan American Broncs men's basketball team represented the University of Texas–Pan American during the 2014–15 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. This were head coach Dan Hipsher's second season at UTPA. The Broncs played their home games at the UTPA Fieldhouse and were members of the Western Athletic Conference. They finished the season 10–21, 4–10 in WAC play to finish in a tie for seventh place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the WAC tournament to UMKC. This was the final season for UTPA as an institution. In 2013, the University of Texas System (UT System) announced that UTPA would merge with the University of Texas at Brownsville to create the new University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV), with the new university entering full operation in the 2015–16 school year. Dan Hipsher
Dan Hipsher (born December 6, 1954) is the associate head coach for the Loyola Ramblers men's basketball team. He was previously the head coach at Wittenberg University, Stetson University, the University of Akron and Texas–Rio Grande Valley. In 1977, he graduated from Bowling Green State University, where he was captain of the basketball team for two seasons. From 1981 to 1989, Hipsher served as an assistant coach at the University of Dayton under Don Donoher. His first head coaching position was at Wittenberg University, where he compiled a 97–18 record while winning four North Coast Athletic Conference titles and two NCAC Tournament titles. He left Wittenberg for Stetson University, where he served as head coach for two years. From 1995 to 2004, he served as men's basketball head coach at the University of Akron. Wylie High School is a public high school located in Abilene, Texas, United States. It is the sole high school of the Wylie Independent School District. Wylie ISD serves the southernmost areas of Abilene, as well as the ever-growing suburbs and exurbs in east central Taylor County. The South Florida Bulls (also known as the USF Bulls) are the athletic teams that represent the University of South Florida. USF competes in NCAA Division I and is a member of the American Athletic Conference for all sports besides sailing, a non-NCAA sanctioned varsity sport which competes in the South Atlantic Intercollegiate Sailing Association within the Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association. Ole Miss Rebels Men's Basketball
The Ole Miss Rebels men's basketball team represents the University of Mississippi in the sport of basketball. The Rebels compete in the NCAA Division I and the Southeastern Conference (SEC). They started the 2015–16 season playing home games at Tad Smith Coliseum on the university's Oxford campus, but played their final game in that facility on December 22, 2015. The Rebels opened a new on-campus arena, The Pavilion at Ole Miss, on January 7, 2016. The Rebels were led by 12-year head coach Andy Kennedy until his resignation on February 18, 2018.
