2014–15 Texas Longhorns Men's Basketball Team
The 2014–15 Texas Longhorns men's basketball team represented the University of Texas at Austin in the 2014–15 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Their head coach was Rick Barnes, who was in his 17th year as head coach. The team played their home games at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, TX, Austin, Texas and were members of the Big 12 Conference. They finished the season 20–14, 8–10 in Big 12 play to finish in a three-way tie for sixth place. Rick Barnes
Richard Barnes (born July 17, 1954) is an American college basketball coach who is currently the head coach at the University of Tennessee. He is also known for coaching at the University of Texas from 1998 to 2015, taking the team to the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament in 16 of his 17 seasons—including 14 straight from 1999 to 2012—as well as a Final Four appearance in 2003. Barnes also previously coached at George Mason University, Providence College, and Clemson University. He has an overall record of 28–26 (.519) in the NCAA tournament (including 19–16 while at Texas). Early life Barnes was born on July 17, 1954, and grew up in Hickory, North Carolina. He is a 1977 graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne College where he was a member of the men's basketball team. Naaman Forest High School
Naaman Forest High School is a public secondary school located in Garland, Texas, United States.
