2014–15 Southampton F.C. Season
The 2014–15 Southampton F.C. season was the club's 16th season in the Premier League and their 38th in the top division of Football in England, English football. It was also the club's first season with Dutch manager Ronald Koeman, who replaced Mauricio Pochettino on 16 June 2014. Southampton finished seventh in the Premier League, having won 18, drawn six and lost 14 matches. The club also made it to the fourth round of the 2014–15 FA Cup, FA Cup and the fifth round of the 2014–15 Football League Cup, League Cup. Following the end of the 2013–14 Southampton F.C. season, 2013–14 campaign, Southampton released six players. The club also made a number of sales, with striker Rickie Lambert, captain Adam Lallana, centre-back Dejan Lovren, left-back Luke Shaw, right-back Calum Chambers and striker Billy Sharp all leaving. Southampton is a port City status in the United Kingdom, city and unitary authority in Hampshire, England. Mauricio Pochettino
Mauricio Roberto Pochettino Trossero (born 2 March 1972), also known mononymously by his nickname Poch, is an Argentine professional football manager and former player who is the head coach of the United States men's national team. Pochettino played as a centre back and began his career in 1989 with Primera División club Newell's Old Boys, winning a league title and finishing as runner-up in the 1992 Copa Libertadores. Jake Tony Sinclair (born 29 November 1994) is an English footballer who plays as a forward for Mangotsfield United. He has played professionally for Southampton and Hibernian. Gastón Ramírez
Gastón Exequiel Ramírez Pereyra (; born 2 December 1990) is a Uruguayan professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Miramar Misiones. He had spells in Uruguay with Peñarol and in Italy with Bologna before moving into the Premier League to Southampton. Jos Hooiveld
Jos Hooiveld (; born 22 April 1983) is a Dutch retired footballer. Hooiveld is known for his strong physical performances. Born in Zeijen, Drenthe, he started his career with Eredivisie club Heerenveen in 2003, before moving to Eerste Divisie side Zwolle, on loan, between 2004 and 2006. In 2006, he moved to Austrian Erste Liga side Kapfenberger SV and one year later moved to Finnish side Inter Turku. Jordan Robert Turnbull (born 30 October 1994) is an English professional footballer who plays as a central defender for club Tranmere Rovers. Turnbull began his career with the academy of Southampton, signing his first professional contract in 2013 and spending two seasons on loan at Swindon Town. He signed for Coventry City in 2016, and won the EFL Trophy in 2017 before suffering relegation. Pablo Daniel "Dani" Osvaldo (; born 12 January 1986) is a former professional footballer who played as a striker. Born and raised in Argentina, Osvaldo represented the Italy national team internationally. Billy Louis Sharp (born 5 February 1986) is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker for club Doncaster Rovers. Sharp has played for Sheffield United, Rushden & Diamonds, Scunthorpe United, Southampton, Nottingham Forest, Reading, Doncaster Rovers and Leeds United. Dejan Lovren (; born 5 July 1989) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Super League Greece club PAOK. Lovren began his career at Dinamo Zagreb before moving to Lyon in January 2010.
