2014–15 Seton Hall Pirates Men's Basketball Team
The 2014–15 Seton Hall Pirates men's basketball team represented Seton Hall University during the 2014–15 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Pirates, led by fifth year head coach Kevin Willard, played its home games in Newark, New Jersey at the Prudential Center and were members of the Big East Conference. They finished the season 16–15, 6–12 in Big East play to finish in a tie for seventh place. They lost in the first round of the Big East tournament to Marquette. Kevin Willard
Kevin Schreiber Willard (born April 6, 1975) is an American college basketball coach and the incoming men's basketball head coach at Villanova University. Willard played basketball at Western Kentucky during the 1992–93 season before transferring to Pittsburgh to finish his playing career. Willard's father, Ralph Willard, was the associate head coach at Louisville and a former head men's basketball coach at Western Kentucky, Pittsburgh, and Holy Cross. Kevin Willard started his coaching career in the NBA ranks, working on the bench with coach Rick Pitino of the Boston Celtics. After Pitino resigned from the Celtics in 2001, Willard followed him to Louisville, and spent the next six years there as his assistant. Brian Daniel Oliver (born September 5, 1990) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Kapfenberg Bulls of the Österreichische Basketball Bundesliga, the highest Austrian professional basketball league. He played college basketball for Georgia Tech and Seton Hall University. High school career Oliver attended William Penn High School in New Castle, Delaware for two and a half years before he transferred to Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia in January 2008. Ángel Luis Delgado Astacio (born November 20, 1994) is a Dominican professional basketball player for Galatasaray Ekmas of the Basketbol Süper Ligi (BSL). He played college basketball for the Seton Hall Pirates. Delgado has also played on the Dominican national team. Isaiah Whitehead (born March 8, 1995) is an American professional basketball player for King Szczecin of the Polish Basketball League (PLK). He played college basketball for Seton Hall.
