2014–15 Seton Hall Pirates Women's Basketball Team
The 2014–15 Seton Hall Pirates women's basketball team represented Seton Hall University during the 2014–15 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Pirates, led by second head coach Anthony Bozella, played its home games in Newark, New Jersey at the Walsh Gymnasium and were members of the Big East Conference. They finished the season 28–6, 15–3 in Big East to share the Big East regular season title with DePaul. They advanced to the championship game of the Big East women's tournament where they lost to DePaul. They received an at-large bid of the NCAA women's basketball tournament where they lost to Rutgers in the first round. With 28 wins in the regular season, the most wins in school history. The Bryce Jordan Center is a 15,261-seat multi-purpose arena in College Township, Pennsylvania, on the University Park campus of the Pennsylvania State University. The arena opened on January 6, 1996, and is the largest such indoor venue in Pennsylvania outside of those in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. The arena replaced Rec Hall as the home to the Nittany Lions men's and women's basketball and the Pride of the Lions Pep Band and its student section, known as Legion of Blue. Rose Hill Gymnasium is a 3,200-seat multi-purpose arena on the Rose Hill campus of Fordham University in The Bronx, New York City, New York. The arena, which opened in 1925, is the oldest on-campus venue currently used primarily for an NCAA Division I basketball team and the second-oldest overall (with the oldest being Northeastern University's Matthews Arena, which opened in 1910 and currently used for its basketball and hockey teams). The volleyball team of Fordham University also uses the gym. The Rose Hill Gymnasium has a gothic facade in keeping with the rest of Fordham University's buildings.
