2014–15 Oregon State Beavers Women's Basketball Team
The 2014–15 Oregon State Beavers women's basketball team represented Oregon State University during the 2014–15 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Beavers, led by fifth year head coach Scott Rueck, played their games at the Gill Coliseum and were members of the Pac-12 Conference. They finished the season 27–5, 16–2 in Pac-12 play to win the Pac-12 regular season title. They lost in the quarterfinals of the Pac-12 women's tournament to Colorado. They received at-large bid of the NCAA women's tournament where they defeated South Dakota State in the first round before getting upset by Gonzaga in the second round. Scott Rueck
Scott Michael Rueck (born July 18, 1969) is the head coach of the Oregon State University women's basketball team. Early life Rueck grew up in Hillsboro, Oregon, where he graduated from Glencoe High School. His father had been the first boys' basketball coach at Glencoe and had also been a coach at Hillsboro High School. After high school, he attended Oregon State University in Corvallis where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in exercise and sports science in 1991. While at OSU he started his coaching career at Santiam Christian High School in nearby Adair Village where he was an assistant with the boys' basketball team from 1989 until 1993. In 1992, he earned a master's degree from Oregon State in physical education. Charles Francis Adams High School, locally referred to as Clarkston High School or CHS, is a four-year public high school located near downtown Clarkston, Washington. The 2014–15 Utah State Aggies women's basketball team represented Utah State University in the 2014–15 college basketball season. The Aggies, led by third year head coach Jerry Finkbeiner. The 2014–15 Portland Pilots women's basketball team represented the University of Portland in the 2014–15 college basketball season. It was head coach Cheryl Sorensen's first season as head coach at Portland. The Pilots were members of the West Coast Conference and played their home games at the Chiles Center. They finished the season 4–26, 2–16 in WCC play to finish in last place. McNary High School (MHS) is the only public high school located in Keizer, Oregon, United States. History In December 1962, voters passed a bond that would relieve overcrowding in North Salem and South Salem High Schools. The naming process was confusing. Many proposed for the school to be named "North Salem High School" and the "old" North Salem High School to be named "Capitol High School." However, it was decided that the school would be named after Charles L. McNary. Academics In 2008, 83% of the school's seniors received a high school diploma. Of 444 students, 368 graduated, 47 dropped out, and 29 were still in high school the following year. In 2021, the graduation rate was 91%.
