2014–15 Oregon Ducks Men's Basketball Team
The 2014–15 Oregon Ducks men's basketball team represented the University of Oregon during the 2014–15 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Ducks were led by their fifth year head coach Dana Altman. They played their home games at Matthew Knight Arena and were members of the Pac-12 Conference. They finished the season 26–10, 13–5 in Pac-12 play to finish in a tie for second place. They advanced to the championship game of the Pac-12 tournament where they lost to Arizona. They received an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament where they defeated Oklahoma State in the second round before losing in the third round to Wisconsin. Previous season The 2013–14 Oregon Ducks finished the season with a record of 24–10 after advancing to the 2014 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament. Dana Altman
Dana Dean Altman (born June 16, 1958) is an American college basketball coach who is the head coach of the Oregon Ducks men's team. Previously he was head coach at Creighton, Kansas State and Marshall. Altman has won conference coach of the year awards at each school he has coached, and has led his teams to 15 appearances in the NCAA tournament. College education Dana Altman began playing college basketball at Fairbury Junior College (now Southeast Community College) in Fairbury, Nebraska. He earned an associate degree in business administration there in 1978. He then received his undergraduate degree in the same field at Eastern New Mexico University in 1980. Damyean Dotson
Damyean Da'Kethe Dotson (born May 6, 1994) is an American professional basketball player for the Gaziantep Basketbol of the Basketbol Süper Ligi (BSL). He played college basketball for Oregon and Houston before being selected with the 44th pick of the 2017 NBA draft by the Knicks. College career He played two seasons for the University of Oregon. After his sophomore season, he and teammates Dominic Artis and Brandon Austin were dismissed due to sexual assault allegations. Johnathan Loyd (born August 15, 1991) is an American professional basketball player for the Island Storm of the National Basketball League of Canada (NBL Canada).
