2014–15 George Washington Colonials Men's Basketball Team
The 2014–15 George Washington Colonials men's basketball team represented George Washington University during the 2014–15 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Colonials, led by fourth year head coach Mike Lonergan, played their home games at the Charles E. Smith Center and were members of the Atlantic 10 Conference. They finished the season 22–13, 10–8 in A-10 play to finish in a three-way tie for sixth place. They advanced to the quarterfinals of the A-10 tournament where they lost to Rhode Island. They were invited to the National Invitation Tournament where they defeated Pittsburgh in the first round before losing in the second round to Temple. Mike Lonergan
Michael Thomas Lonergan (born January 28, 1966) is the former head coach of the George Washington University Colonials men's basketball team. He replaced Karl Hobbs. He was formerly the coach of the University of Vermont Catamounts and the Catholic University of America (CUA) and before that a point guard for CUA. Biography Early life and education Lonergan grew up in Bowie, Maryland and attended Archbishop Carroll High School in Washington, D.C. Lonergan's late mother and first coach, Maureen, was coach and athletic director at Bladensburg's Elizabeth Seton High School. His father, Jack, was a successful college baseball player, gaining national attention for pitching a one-hitter for Holy Cross in the 1952 College World Series. Lonergan holds a B.A. in History from CUA and an M.S. in Criminal Justice from American International College. Wake Forest Demon Deacons Men's Basketball
The Wake Forest Demon Deacons men's basketball team represents Wake Forest University in NCAA Division I college basketball and competes in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). Through the years, the program has produced many NBA players, among them are Hall of Famer Tim Duncan, 12× All-Star Chris Paul, 1× All-Star Jeff Teague, Sixth Man of the Year Rodney Rogers, and 1× All-Star Josh Howard. Dewitt, New York
DeWitt is a town in Onondaga County, New York, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population was 26,074. The town is named after major Moses DeWitt, a judge and soldier. An eastern suburb of Syracuse, DeWitt also is the site of most of the campus and all of the academic buildings of Le Moyne College. History DeWitt was part of the Central New York Military Tract. Tyler Robert Cavanaugh (born February 9, 1994) is an American professional basketball player for Bahçeşehir Koleji S.K., Bahçeşehir Koleji of the Turkish Basketbol Süper Ligi (BSL). He played college basketball for Wake Forest Demon Deacons men's basketball, Wake Forest and George Washington Revolutionaries men's basketball, George Washington.
