2014–15 FIU Panthers Men's Basketball Team
The 2014–15 FIU Panthers men's basketball team represented Florida International University during the 2014–15 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Panthers, led by second year head coach Anthony Evans, played their home games at FIU Arena, and were members of Conference USA. They finished the season 16–17, 8–10 in C-USA play in a 4-way tie for seventh place. They advanced to the quarterfinals of the C-USA tournament where they lost to UTEP. Previous season The Panthers finished the season 15–16, 7–9 in C-USA play to finish in a three-way tie for eighth place. Due to APR penalties, they were ineligible for a post-season berth, including the 2014 Conference USA men's basketball tournament. Anthony Evans (basketball)
Anthony Lemont Evans (born March 25, 1970) is an American college basketball coach and the former head men's basketball coach at FIU Panthers men's basketball, Florida International. Prior to FIU, he served as the head coach at Norfolk State University. Evans currently serves as Director of Player Development at UMass Minutemen basketball, UMass. Evans graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas College in 1994, where he had played guard for the men's basketball team. Playing career Evans played out his high school career at Bishop Loughlin High School in Brooklyn, NY. After graduating from Loughlin, he went on to attend SUNY Orange, Orange County CC in Middletown, NY where he was a two-year stand out for the Colts during the 1989–1990 & 1990–1991 seasons. He currently is 4th on the SUNY Orange all-time scoring list with 1,182 points. Kansas State Wildcats Men's Basketball
The Kansas State Wildcats men's basketball team represents Kansas State University in college basketball competition. The program is classified in the NCAA Division I, and is a member of the Big 12 Conference. The head coach is Jerome Tang. The program began competition in 1902. The first two major-conference regular season titles won by the school were won by the men's basketball team, in 1917 and 1919 (in the Missouri Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Association). Kansas State has gone on to win 19 regular season conference crowns. The Wildcats have appeared in the NCAA tournament 32 times, most recently in 2023. North Florida Ospreys Men's Basketball
The North Florida Ospreys represent the University of North Florida (UNF) in men's college basketball. The Ospreys compete in the ASUN Conference (A-Sun) in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). They play home games at UNF Arena on the school's campus in Jacksonville. Lorton is a census-designated place (CDP) in Fairfax County, Virginia, United States. The population was 20,072 as of the 2020 census.
