2014–15 Central Michigan Chippewas Men's Basketball Team
The 2014–15 Central Michigan Chippewas men's basketball team represented Central Michigan University during the 2014–15 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Chippewas, led by third year head coach Keno Davis, played their home games at McGuirk Arena, as members of the West Division of the Mid-American Conference. They finished the season 23–9, 12–6 in MAC play to be champions of the West Division and share the overall MAC regular season championship with Buffalo. They advanced to the championship game of the MAC tournament where they lost to Buffalo. As a conference champion, and #1 seed in their conference tournament, who failed to win their conference tournament they received an automatic bid to the National Invitation Tournament where they lost in the first round to Louisiana Tech. Keno Davis
Keno Emlen Davis (born March 10, 1972) an American basketball coach who worked last season as a college basketball color analyst, and as a college scouting consultant for the Indiana Pacers. He was most recently the men's basketball head coach at Central Michigan University. Davis was previously head coach at Drake University for one season (2007–08), where he was named the 2008 Associated Press College Basketball Coach of the Year, and at Providence College for three seasons (2008–2011). Davis also served as an assistant coach at Drake from 2003–2007 under his father Tom Davis prior to starting his coaching career. Detroit Country Day School (also known as DCD, DCDS, or Country Day) is a private, secular school located in three campuses in Oakland County, in the U.S. state of Michigan, north of Detroit.
