The men's freestyle 74 kilograms is a competition featured at the 2014 World Wrestling Championships, and was held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on 9 September 2014. This freestyle wrestling competition consists of a single-elimination tournament, with a repechage used to determine the winner of two bronze medals. Denís Tsargúsh (, IPA /dɛˈnis t͡sʰɑrˈgʷɨʂ/, born 1 September 1987, also known as Dinislam Tsargush), is a Russian freestyle wrestler. He is a three-time European Champion, three-time World Champion and also won a bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics. He is a Grand Master of Sports in Freestyle Wrestling. He won the 74 kg weight class at the 2009, 2010 and 2014 FILA Wrestling World Championships. He won the bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the men's 74 kg category. Soner Demirtaş (born 25 June 1991) is a Turkish freestyle wrestler who competes in the 74 kg division. He won the European title in 2016, 2017 and 2018. He was bronze medalist at the Rio Olympics.
