2014 Men's European Volleyball League
The 2014 Men's European Volleyball League was the eleventh edition of the annual men's Men's European Volleyball League, which featured men's national volleyball teams from ten European countries. Montenegro defeated Greece 5–1 match points in the final, which was played over two legs, to capture their first title. Format This year saw no final four tournament. The Men's European Volleyball League is a continental volleyball competition senior men's national volleyball teams of Europe, organized by the European Volleyball Confederation ( CEV). Created in 2004, the competition serves as a qualifying tournament for the FIVB World League (until 2017) and to its successor the FIVB Nations League since 2018. Montenegro Men's National Volleyball Team
The Montenegro men's national volleyball team represents Montenegro in international men's volleyball competitions and friendly matches. The national volleyball team was formed in 2006, recently after independence. Montenegro has been a full member of FIVB and CEV since 2006. Montenegro played their first official match on 1 September 2007 in Podgorica and won against Latvia (3–1). Until 2017, at major tournaments, Montenegro played in FIVB World League and European League. Montenegro made main success at 2014, winning the gold medal in European League. The 2015 FIVB Volleyball World League was the 26th edition of the annual men's international volleyball tournament, played from 16 May to 19 July 2015.
