2014 Football League Play-offs
The Football League play-offs for the 2013–14 season (referred to as the Sky Bet Play-Offs for sponsorship reasons) were held in May 2014 with all finals being staged at Wembley Stadium in London. The play-offs began at the semi-final stage with all semi-finals being played over two legs, contested by the teams who finished in 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th place in the Football League Championship and League One and the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th-placed teams in the League Two table. The winners of the semi-finals then advanced to the finals, with the winner of the final gaining promotion for the following season. The English Football League (EFL) play-offs are a series of play-offs, play-off matches contested by four association football teams finishing immediately below the automatic Promotion and relegation, promotion places in the second, third and fourth tiers of the English football league system, namely the EFL Championship, EFL League One and EFL League Two. , the play-offs comprise two semi-finals, each conducted as a two-legged tie with games played at each side's home ground. Jeff Hendrick
Jeffrey Patrick Hendrick (born 31 January 1992) is an Irish professional Association football, footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Derby County F.C., Derby County. George Louis Elliot Thorne (born 4 January 1993) is an English former footballer who played as a midfielder. Michael J. Jones (born 18 April 1968) is an English retired professional football referee based in Chester. He is a member of the Cheshire County Football Association. He began refereeing in the Football League in 1997 and was promoted in 2008 to the list of Select Group Referees who officiate all Premier League fixtures. The Brick Community Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Robin Park in Wigan, Greater Manchester, England. It is used by Wigan Warriors rugby league club and Wigan Athletic F.C., Wigan Athletic association football, football club. Roger East (born 12 May 1965) is an English former professional football referee who officiated primarily in the Premier League. He was associated with the Wiltshire Football Association. Falmer is a small village and Civil parishes in England, civil parish in the Lewes (district), Lewes District of East Sussex, England, lying between Brighton and Lewes, approximately five miles (8 km) north-east of the former.
