The 2014 FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship was the 10th edition of the event. It was held in Belo Horizonte, Brazil from 5 to 10 May 2014. The Russian club Belogorie Belgorod won the title for the first time. VC Belogorie Belgorod () is a Russian professional volleyball club based in Belgorod, which is participating in the Russian Volleyball Super League. VC Belogorie won the Russian Championship and the Russian Cup eight times each. The club is also a three-times CEV Champions League champion. Mineirinho
Mineirinho Arena (officially Estádio Jornalista Felipe Drummond), sometimes called just Mineirinho, is the biggest indoor sporting arena in Brazil. Located in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, the arena holds 25,000 people. Mineirinho is located in the Sports Complex of Mineirão Stadium in the Pampulha, which was one of the headquarters of the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup and the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The nickname (''small Mineiro'') is due to being located close to the larger Mineirão (''big Mineiro''), the stadium. At the time of its construction, the now extinct ADEMG (Administração de Estádios do Estado de Minas Gerais), the organization responsible for building the arena, was administered by sportswriters, who decided to honor Felipe Drummond, one of the most important sportswriters in the history of Minas Gerais, for his work as a journalist. György Grozer (born 27 November 1984), also known as Georg Grozer, is a German professional volleyball player of Hungarian origin who plays as an opposite spiker for Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie and the Germany national team. Personal life Grozer was born in Budapest, Hungary. His father, György Grozer Senior is a former volleyball player and coach. With his first wife Violetta he has two daughters – Leana (born 2007) and Loreen (born 2010). Sergey Tetyukhin
Sergey Yuryevich Tetyukhin (; born 23 September 1975) is a former Russian volleyball player. He was born in Fergana, Uzbekistan. He is 1.97 m tall, and plays as passer-attacker. Together with Samuele Papi and Sérgio Santos, he is one of only three male volleyball players who have accumulated four Olympic medals in the course of their long sporting careers. Tetyukhin, however, has the distinction of being the only volleyball player in the world (male or female) with four Olympic medals who has all three types of those awards, including gold at the London Olympics.
