2014 CONCACAF Under-20 Women's Championship
The 2014 CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship was the seventh edition of the CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship. The United States women's national under-20 soccer team, United States went into the tournament as defending champions and successfully retained their title. The tournament was hosted by the Cayman Islands from 9 to 19 January 2014. The top three teams qualified for the 2014 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Canada. Canada has already qualified for the World Cup as the host and did not participate in this tournament. The tournament was won by the United States women's national under-20 soccer team, United States, who defeated Mexico women's national under-20 football team, Mexico in the final, 4–0. 2014 CONCACAF Under-20 Women's Championship Qualification
The qualifying tournaments to the 2014 CONCACAF Under-20 Women's Championship, the North American continent's youth football championships started in July 2013. The qualification process was divided into the Central American and Caribbean zone. USA and Mexico, as well as hosts Cayman Islands, were automatically qualified to the final tournament. Central America qualifying Three teams will advance to the final tournament. The Central American Football Union set the dates for the tournament on 9 July 2013. Group 1 Played from 21 to 25 August 2013 in Honduras. Group 2 Played from 4 to 8 September 2013 in Panama. Truman Bodden Sports Complex is a multi-use complex in George Town, Cayman Islands. It is named after Truman Bodden, a former Caymanian politician.
