The 2014 Big 12 Conference women's basketball tournament was the postseason women's basketball tournament for the Big 12 Conference, held from March 7 to 10 in Oklahoma City at Chesapeake Energy Arena. The 2014 tournament is already guaranteed to make history as for the first time ever, every game will be televised nationally. Chesapeake Energy Arena
Paycom Center (originally known as the Ford Center from 2002 to 2010, Oklahoma City Arena from 2010 to 2011, and Chesapeake Energy Arena from 2011 to 2021) is an arena located in downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States. Big 12 Conference Women's Basketball Tournament
The Big 12 Conference women's basketball tournament is the championship women's basketball tournament in the Big 12 Conference. The tournament is set to be held at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri until 2031. Due to a major conference realignment that significantly impacted the Big 12, the 2025 women's tournament will be the first tournament with 16 teams participating. At the beginning of the 2024–25 season, Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, and Utah joined the conference. The tournament is sponsored by Phillips 66. The Tournament has been held every year since 1997, except in 2020 when it was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. All sixteen teams will participate in the tournament. Legend AP Poll This poll is compiled by sportswriters across the nation. In Division I men's and women's college basketball, the AP Poll is largely just a tool to compare schools throughout the season and spark debate, as it has no bearing on postseason play. USA Today Coaches Poll The Coaches Poll is the second oldest poll still in use after the AP Poll. It is compiled by a rotating group of 32 college Division I head coaches. The 2014 NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament was played in March and April 2014, with the Final Four played April 6–8. The Ohio Valley Conference served as the host institution. The Final Four was played at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. Tennessee continued its streak of making every NCAA women's basketball tournament at 33 consecutive appearances. Connecticut (who made their seventh consecutive Final Four overall) and Notre Dame faced each other in the NCAA Final. Bria Holmes (born April 19, 1994) is an American professional basketball player who is a free agent in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). She was drafted with the eleventh overall pick in the 2016 WNBA draft. Holmes was the fifth player to be drafted from West Virginia.
