2014–15 Egyptian Premier League
The 2014–15 Egyptian Premier League was the 56th season of the Egyptian Premier League, the top Egyptian professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1948. The season started on 15 September 2014 and concluded on 3 August 2015. Teams A total of 20 teams contested the league, including 17 sides from the 2013–14 season and 3 promoted from the 2013–14 Egyptian Second Division. This includes the promotion play-off winners ( Ala'ab Damanhour, Al Assiouty Sport and Al Nasr). Al Assiouty Sport and Al Nasr made their Premier League debut. Zamalek drew the highest attendance, 20,000 spectators in a match in February. Egyptian Premier League
The Egyptian Premier League (), also known as the Nile League () for sponsorship reasons, after the addition of title sponsor Nile Developments, is a professional association football league in Egypt and the highest level of the Egyptian football league system. The league comprises 18 teams and operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Egyptian Second Division A. Seasons mostly run from August to May. Unlike most other leagues, games are played on all days of the week. The Egyptian Premier League was founded in 1948, unifying the local leagues that existed previously. List of Egyptian Premier League clubs, 70 clubs have competed in the league since its founding. Al Ahly SC, Al Ahly have won the title 45 times, more than any other club. Port Said ( , , ) is a port city that lies in the northeast Egypt extending about along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, straddling the west bank of the northern mouth of the Suez Canal. The city is the capital city, capital of the Port Said Governorate, Port Said governorate and it forms the majority of the governorate, where its seven districts comprise seven of the governorate's eight regions. Al Masry Sporting Club () is an Egyptian sports club based in Port Said, Egypt. The club is mainly known for its professional football team that competes in the Egyptian Premier League, the highest tier of the Egyptian football league system. Al Masry has never won the league, but won their one Egyptian Cup in 1998. The club used to play their home matches at the Port Said Stadium, with a capacity of 17,988. El Gouna
( , "the Lagoon") is an Egyptian tourist city located on the Red Sea in the Red Sea Governorate, Egypt. It is located north of Hurghada. It is part of the Red Sea Riviera, and a host city of the El Gouna Film Festival. It was created in 1990, and is owned and developed by Samih Sawiris' Orascom Development. The 30 June Stadium is a stadium used mostly for football matches and also sometimes for athletics located in Cairo. It was built by the Egyptian Air Defense Forces. The stadium is the main venue of the Air Defense Sport Village. The stadium has a capacity of 30,000 and it is one of the venues of the Egyptian Premier League. It is the home ground of the Egyptian Premier League side Pyramids F.C. Pyramids Football Club ( or ) is an Egyptian professional football club based in New Cairo, Cairo that competes in the Egyptian Premier League, the highest league in the Egyptian football league system. Formed in 2008 as Al Assiouty Sport in Assiut, the club was bought and moved to Cairo by Turki Al-Sheikh in 2018. Later on, Salem Al Shamsi bought the club in July 2019.
