2013–14 Wake Forest Demon Deacons Men's Basketball Team
The 2013–14 Wake Forest Demon Deacons men's basketball team represented Wake Forest University during the 2013–14 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Their head coach was Jeff Bzdelik, who was in his fourth season at Wake Forest. The team played its home games at the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and was a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference. They finished the season 17–16, 6–12 in ACC play to finish in three-way tie for 11th place. They advanced to the second round of the ACC tournament where they lost to Pittsburgh. Jeff Bzdelik
Jeffrey Joseph Bzdelik () (born December 1, 1952) is an American professional basketball coach who most recently served as associate head coach for the New Orleans Pelicans of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was head coach of the Denver Nuggets in the NBA for slightly over two seasons, from 2002 until he was fired near the end of 2004. He also served as a college head coach at UMBC, Air Force, Colorado, and Wake Forest. Early life Bzdelik earned four varsity letters while playing basketball at the University of Illinois-Chicago, and was named team MVP in 1975–76. He also spent six years in the Army National Guard. John Marshall High School, known colloquially as Jayem, is a secondary public school located in Richmond, Virginia, part of the Richmond Public Schools, serving grades 9–12.
