2013–14 Notts County F.C. Season
The 2013–14 English football season was Notts County Football Club's 125th year in the Football League and their fourth consecutive season in Football League One, the third division of the English League System. On 13 September 2013, Jack Grealish joined the club on a youth loan until 13 January 2014. The 18 year-old made his professional debut the following day, coming on as a 59th-minute substitute for David Bell in a 3–1 away defeat to Milton Keynes Dons. On 7 December, he scored his first career goal, beating three defenders to score the last goal in a 3–1 win over Gillingham at Meadow Lane, and followed this a week later by opening a 4–0 victory at Colchester United. Grealish extended his loan with Notts County on 17 January 2014 until the end of the season. He ended his loan with five goals and seven assists in 38 appearances. David Bell (footballer, Born 1984)
David Anthony Bell (born 21 January 1984) is a former professional footballer. A midfielder, he played for Norwich City, Coventry City, Luton Town, Rushden & Diamonds and Notts County. Playing career The 2006–07 season was very much a breakthrough season for him as he went from a squad player at Luton to one of the club's key players under Mike Newell and Kevin Blackwell. In January 2007 he was given a contract extension, running through to 2010. At the end of season awards, Bell won the Internet Player of the Season and Young Supporters' Player of the Season – an achievement few fans believed possible at the start of the season, as Bell had not even broken into the starting line-up at the season's beginning. Kevin Pilkington
Kevin William Pilkington (born 8 March 1974) is an English football coach and former professional footballer who is the goalkeeping coach at club Luton Town. As a player, he had a 25-year career as a goalkeeper, playing 439 league and cup games. Noted for his shot stopping abilities, Pilkington notably played in the Premier League for Manchester United before dropping down to the English Football League, where he played in nearly 350 games in his time at Mansfield Town and Notts County, helping Mansfield win promotion out of the Third Division in 2001–02. Fabian Spiess (born 22 February 1994) is a German former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Career Spiess joined the Notts County youth system in the 2010–11 season, and while still in the club's academy he signed for Isthmian League Premier Division side Lewes on loan in October 2011. He made his debut on 26 October in a Sussex Senior Challenge Cup 4–0 victory over Wick, before making his league bow in a 4–0 defeat of A.F.C. Hornchurch on 29 October.
