2013–14 Illinois State Redbirds Men's Basketball Team
The 2013–14 Illinois State Redbirds men's basketball team represented Illinois State University during the 2013–14 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Redbirds, led by second-year head coach Dan Muller, played their home games at Redbird Arena in Normal, Illinois as a member of the Missouri Valley Conference. They finished the season 18–16, 9–9 in conference play, to finish in a tie for fourth place. As the number five seed in the MVC tournament, they were defeated by Missouri State in a quarterfinal game. They received an invitation to the College Basketball Invitational where they won over Morehead State in the first round and Texas A&M in the quarterfinal round before losing to Siena in the semifinal round. 2013 College Basketball Invitational
The 2013 College Basketball Invitational (CBI) was a single-elimination tournament of 16 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I teams that did not participate in the NCAA Tournament or the NIT. The opening games were held on Tuesday, March 19. A best-of-three championship series between the final two teams was held on April 1, April 3, and April 5. Participants North Dakota State and College of Charleston each had 24 wins going into this tournament, which is the most since Akron and IUPUI in 2009 (24 wins each). Proviso East High School is a public secondary school in Maywood, Illinois which serves the educational needs of Maywood and three other villages within Proviso Township, Cook County, Illinois: Broadview, Forest Park and Melrose Park. It is the original campus of Proviso Township High Schools District 209. Prior to being split into East and Proviso West High School in 1958, East was known as Proviso Township High School. Ben Davis High School
Ben Davis High School (BDHS) is a three-year high school in Indianapolis, Indiana. History Ben Davis was first established in 1892. The current school building was constructed in 1965. The school underwent extensive construction and renovation from 1998 to 2002 and experienced another addition of more classrooms which was completed prior to the 2007/2008 school year. With the newly opened Ninth Grade Center, the school boasts over under one continuous roof. The school is named for the 1880s Vandalia Railroad executive Benjamin Davis. He was instrumental in getting a stop on the railroad for a small community that would come to bear his name. The community members were so appreciative of Davis's efforts that they named the stop after him. The community around the stop became known as "Ben Davis". Bishop Manogue Catholic High School is a Catholic high school in Reno, Nevada. It is the only Catholic high school in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Reno. History The Catholic high school was established in Reno, Nevada in 1948 and named for the first Bishop of Sacramento, Patrick Manogue. In 1957 the school moved from its location off of Mill Street to 400 Bartlett Street, off of Valley Road, adjacent to the University of Nevada, and was known as "The School on the Hill."
