The 2013 Women's NORCECA Volleyball Championship was the 23rd edition of the Women's Continental Volleyball Tournament. Nine countries competed from September 16 to September 21, 2013, in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. Ralston Arena
The Liberty First Credit Union Arena, formerly known as Ralston Arena and sometimes as Ralston Sports and Event Center, is an arena located in Ralston, Nebraska, a suburb of Omaha. It serves as the home of the Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League and the Omaha Beef of the National Arena League (NAL). Alisha Rebecca Glass Childress (born April 5, 1988) is an American professional volleyball player who plays as a setter for the Vegas Thrill of the Pro Volleyball Federation. Glass played collegiate volleyball for Penn State, where she led Penn State to three NCAA consecutive championships. Glass won gold with the national team at the 2014 World Championship, and bronze at the 2015 World Cup and 2016 Rio Olympic Games. Women's NORCECA Volleyball Championship
The NORCECA Women's Volleyball Championship is the official competition for senior women's national volleyball teams of North America, Central America and the Caribbean, organized by the North, Central America and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation ( NORCECA). Since its introduction in 1969 the tournaments have been awarded every two years. The competition has been dominated by Cuba and United States, which won together 21 of the 27 editions of the tournament. Bethania de la Cruz de Peña (born May 13, 1987) is a volleyball player from the Dominican Republic, currently playing for the Omaha Supernovas of the Pro Volleyball Federation. She is best known for winning the gold medal with the Dominican women's national team at the 2009 NORCECA Championship and the 2010 Pan-American Cup. Debora Seilhamer (born October 4, 1985) is a volleyball player from Ponce, Puerto Rico. Seilhamer made her debut with the Puerto Rico women's national volleyball team at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She was named ''Best Digger'' at the 2007 NORCECA Championship, where her team ended up in fifth place. Seilhamer played as a libero for the Women's National Team at the 2008 Olympic Qualification Tournament in Japan. There the team ended up in eighth and last place, having received a wild card for the event after Peru and Kenya withdrew.
